VLCM (pronounced Valcom) is looking for dynamic, aggressive, self-starters that will skillfully create new sales opportunities for our company. Most importantly, the Sales Associate will be responsible for identifying potential companies that fit into our sales pipeline. They will be in charge of strategically locating prospect's contact information. They will also be responsible for networking with industry specific associations.  The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and thrive under a compensation structure that is primarily commission driven. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prospecting new potential clients.
  • Identifying 30 companies and two contacts within each company per day
  • Call mapping to identify the best point of contact
  • Working alongside our sales rep to help fill their funnel
  • Effectively take notes during call and relay those to sales rep
  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in industry and products
  • Network via LinkedIn
  • Uses creative approaches in order to identify new prospects

  • 0-1 years' experience in inside sales
  • Some experience calling into gatekeepers
  • Comfortable communicating VLCM's position statement
  • Salesforce, call-center, and excel experience is helpfu
  • Current college student
  • Some experience in B2B or SaaS industry is preferred
  • Self-starter. Able to take an objective goal and run with it on their own
  • Communicate effectively both written and orally
  • Not afraid to make cold calls and ask questions to identify the best point of contact
